The contest is for the purpose of demonstrating just how cool and useful LINQ is to the software development community.
Judging and Prizes:
Evaluation and judging of contest samples will be conducted by Joseph Rattz, Jr., author of Pro LINQ: Language Integrated Query in C# 2008 and proprietor of LINQDev.com.
One copy of Halo 3 Legendary Edition, along with their choice of any three Apress .NET books, will be awarded to the Grand Prize winner. Two additional entries will win their choice of any three Apress .NET books.
The Grand Prize will be awarded based on the following factors:
Coolest, Most Useful, and Most Clever. We’re talking innovative. Maybe you’ve found new and interesting ways to apply its use; we’re also talking practical application, as in you’ve found a cool, everyday use for it. We’re looking for that “Wow!” moment, and we know it’s out there among you. But to win the Grand Prize, your sample should hit on each of those three qualities: cool, useful, clever.
