Continuing this week’s theme of catching up on posts I should have spotted during the last two weeks of December, here’s an interesting one from Somasegar:
It seems that the Visual Studio 2005 Service Pack 1 contains basic support for ASP.NET AJAX within its parser, so it’s able to check and suggest corrections to your coding on the fly. You’ll find the full details here. For anyone that’s trying to get to grips with the recent 1.0 Release Candidate of ASP.NET AJAX and is getting fed-up with red ink all over their code where Studio can’t work out what you’re trying to do, this will be heaven.
