"WPF/E" CTP is released

Dec 5, 03:03 am

Linked to my previous post, the first “WPF/E” CTP has been released today, too. You can find details, including some very nice looking example code on Scott Guthrie’s blog.

WPF/E delivers a small AJAX-based client runtime that assists developers using AJAX techniques in building rich applications. It does this by providing a rich graphics engine that can be used within HTML pages through a mixture of AJAX and XAML.

Apparently, it has deep integration with both Visual Studio (which appears true from a first glance) and the new Expression betas (which I’ve no idea about as I’m still downloading them).

The channel9 feed that Scott links to is probably the best place to start getting to grips with this new initiative.
